SAM AJDANI: IS HE THE NEXT MR. WORLD?

    This 26-year-old Filipino-Persian model is set to represent the Philippines on Mr. World 2016 which will take
place at Southport, United Kingdom on July 19. Mr. World is organized by the same organization behind Miss
World.

This competition is dubbed as “The World’s Most Desirable Man” and is based on a man’s holistic
appeal instead of just his looks. Mr. World runs for 2-3 weeks and is composed of five parts: Fashion & Style,
Extreme Challenge, Multi-media Award, Sports Challenge, and Talent Competition.

All finalists need to answer
one question: “Why do you want to win Mr. World, and what would it mean to you?”
Prior to Sam, Philippines had two representatives in the past: celebrity-athlete Andrew Wolff (Mr. World 2012
1st Runner-up) and military man-model John Spainhour (2014).

The competition is held every two years and the
current titleholder is Nicklas Pederson of Denmark. Will Sam Ajdani be the next Mr. World?

1. He is a bachelor degree holder
Aside from modeling, Sam graduated with a degree in Information Technology. He also took up his Masters in
Information Management.
2. He is a fitness trainer.
Sam likes to workout, no wonder why he has a great body.
3. His mother is a Filipina.

Sam’s mother is from Bacolod while his father is a Persian. His parents are currently residing in Iran. He has an
older sister and a younger brother, Tohid, who is also a model and living in Manila with him.
4. He is part of Mercator.
Sam has been modeling for 4 years. He is currently part of Mercator Model Management, one of the
prestigious talent agencies in the Philippines, which handles not only models and top celebrities but also
beauty queens under Aces and Queens led by the beauty queen maker, Jonas Gaffud. They are currently
promoting a beauty caravan, Project Beautiful You, an advocacy campaign that strives to find real beauty
