SAM AJDANI: IS HE THE NEXT MR. WORLD?

    This 26-year-old Filipino-Persian model is set to represent the Philippines on Mr. World 2016 which will take
place at Southport, United Kingdom on July 19. Mr. World is organized by the same organization behind Miss
World.

This competition is dubbed as “The World’s Most Desirable Man” and is based on a man’s holistic
appeal instead of just his looks. Mr. World runs for 2-3 weeks and is composed of five parts: Fashion & Style,
Extreme Challenge, Multi-media Award, Sports Challenge, and Talent Competition.

All finalists need to answer
one question: “Why do you want to win Mr. World, and what would it mean to you?”
Prior to Sam, Philippines had two representatives in the past: celebrity-athlete Andrew Wolff (Mr. World 2012
1st Runner-up) and military man-model John Spainhour (2014).

The competition is held every two years and the
current titleholder is Nicklas Pederson of Denmark. Will Sam Ajdani be the next Mr. World?

1. He is a bachelor degree holder
Aside from modeling, Sam graduated with a degree in Information Technology. He also took up his Masters in
Information Management.
2. He is a fitness trainer.
Sam likes to workout, no wonder why he has a great body.
3. His mother is a Filipina.

Sam’s mother is from Bacolod while his father is a Persian. His parents are currently residing in Iran. He has an
older sister and a younger brother, Tohid, who is also a model and living in Manila with him.
4. He is part of Mercator.
Sam has been modeling for 4 years. He is currently part of Mercator Model Management, one of the
prestigious talent agencies in the Philippines, which handles not only models and top celebrities but also
beauty queens under Aces and Queens led by the beauty queen maker, Jonas Gaffud. They are currently
promoting a beauty caravan, Project Beautiful You, an advocacy campaign that strives to find real beauty

Halili- Cruz School of Ballet: 30 Years of Artistic Excellence

  Ballet originated in the 15th Century Italian Renaissance Courts and later developed into a concert dance form in France and Russia.  It has been globally influential and has been the foundation of other dance genres.

The Halili-Cruz School of Ballet (HCSB) has been considered as one of the best ballet schools in the Philippines. It has been awarded as the “Most Outstanding Ballet School in Asia” from 2000 to the present. The school has successfully represented the Philippines in different international festivals and competitions in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Brunei, South Korea, Russia, England and the USA.

The main studio is located at 1227 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City, Philippines that houses 5 studios with a total dance floor of 550 square meters and a vast quadrangle where kids and parents can hang out.
